The year is 2009 and in comes Nick Reynolds, a freshman offensive lineman recruit for Central Michigan University. Reynolds, who played alongside the infamous Antonio Brown, soon became one of the stars of the Central Michigan Chippewas football team.
His new reputation as an elite football player also brought the life that so many people talk about. Women, a thriving clothing business, and drugs all came into the mix as Reynolds balanced the football field with living a lavish lifestyle all before the age of 21.
Despite his climb in the football ranks, it soon became a task Reynolds was no longer passionate about. No matter how hard his coach tried to convince him to stay, the decision was already made.
Unfortunately, Reynolds life started going in a downward spiral. Negative smoking habits increased, which eventually led to other coping mechanisms. At the same time, Reynolds clothing line began to garner a lot of attention around the campus.
However, something was still missing. A revelation from God showed him that he could either choose instant success or eternal grace. After discussing his choice to let his business go with his friends regardless of the consequences, Reynolds embarked on a new life journey.
Fast-forward to 2019 and Nick Reynolds is a leader for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and mentors young football prospects at Meadowcreek High School. He helps them with daily workouts and overall encouragement and motivation.
Reynolds was also blessed to continue his love for fashion, art and creativity. He makes custom design prints through his online business at NDRcreative.
Not only that, he is the youth pastor of “Creatives ATL”, which is a christian-based organization focused on giving youth purpose and identity. Located in Duluth, GA, Creatives ATL wants to change the narrative with student ministry through its core values and fellowship. They also have an inclusive space targeting young adults that includes everything from weekly worship services, game rooms, and lounge areas.
