Rapper “Young Nudy” Drops New Project ‘Sli’merre’
On May 10, Young Nudy ‘Sli’merre’. The album includes 12 upbeat songs, all produced by Pi’erre Bourne, who is known for his slogan on each of his beats that always ask the question; “Yo Pi’erre, you wanna come out here”?
Young Nudy released four mixtapes, the Slimeball trilogy and Nudy Land, between 2016 and 2018 that all helped him gain the ears of Atlanta’s streets. His project solidifies him as an established rapper in the music industry through his solo records, in addition to him featuring a stellar guest list of other rappers on Sli’merre.
21 Savage, a frequent collaborator with Young Nudy, was no surprise, but Nudy called on Megan Thee Stallion and Da Baby, two of rap music’s newest rising stars. Finally, Lil Uzi Vert makes an appearance on the track Extendo.
The tape starts off with an instant banger with the track Long Ride. Nudy talks about how he is not new to this rap life, but is built for it. You can hear him rap about success, women and the reasons why people hate his progress.
He follows that signature introduction off with the track Mister, featuring 21 Savage 21 Savage does not disappoint, providing his infamous Atlanta street flow to the Pi’erre beat that includes a variety of windwood instruments.
Fans will be pleased to hear the vocals of Megan Thee Stallion rapping seductively over the track Shotta. Megan describes the rules to the rap game, and also states that in order to get with her, you better be willing to support her luxurious lifestyle.
Pi’erre and Nudy end the project with the track, Joker. Although Pi’erre slows down the tempo on this beat, Nudy still manages a melodic flow for the entire three minutes. It was the perfect way to end this great collaboration album.
